The 2026 Houston County Fair Entry Open Class Online Registration is now open until August 12th, 2026. We are excited to introduce new departments, class/lot's this year! As we continue to look for new and exciting things to add to Open Class please continue to share your feedback with us! We appreciate your participation and look forward to seeing you at the Fair! When registering online, please refer to the Premium Book for any details on All Open Class Rules, Regulations, and Deadlines. The full guides can be downloaded below.
Payments for Open Class Registration can be mailed to the fair office or paid at the office when dropping of exhibit entires during fair week.
In-Person Registration Dates for 2026
Saturday, August 8th, 2026 - 8am - 1pm
Wednesday, August 12th, 2025- 5pm - 8pm
Deadline for all entries is August 12th, 2026. No entries will be taken after this date.
Tags will be available for pick up starting Tuesday, August 18th from the Fair Office.

Is there an age limit to who can enter in Open Class?
No - there is no age limit on who can participate in Open Class Exhibits or Competitions. We encourage all age ranges!
My kid wants to show an animal, but they are not in 4-H, can they still show at the fair?
Absolutely! Anyone who is not in 4-H can compete in the Open Class Livestock Shows.
Where/when do I pay for my Open Class Entries?
Open Class entry fees can be paid by mail or in person during fair week at the Fair Office.
