Requirements

-4-7 years of age

-Maximum weight is 60 lbs
-Must bring own helmet and vest (bike helmet and life jacket with front and back padding)
-Parent must sign waiver in order for kid to participate

Limited entries, spots are first come first serve. Pre-registration is encouraged with the form below.

HOUSTON COUNTY FAIR MUTTON BUSTIN' RULES

Age, Weight and Gear Requirements

Contestants must be between the ages of 4 years and 7 years old, weighing no more than 60lbs. Contestants MUST provide their own helmet and vest (bike helmets, life jackets with padding on the front and back sides). Contestants without appropriate gear will not be allowed to compete.

Check-In

Check-in with Katie in the Grandstand Pits area to sign your waiver, and get your child's back number for competing. Check in starts at 6:15pm.

Pre-Registration

Pre-registration is not required, but encouraged as we have limited entries based on how many sheep are available. Please contact us with any questions at, houstoncountyfairmn@gmail.com.

Waivers

A parent or legal guardian will be required to sign a waiver before the child is allowed to compete. The Houston County Fair or Houston County Agricultural Society is not responsible for accidents during the Mutton Bustin' competition.
